Understanding Oneness

SYNOPSIS: This week, we will review the importance of being peace in the world and how it is our own responsibility to demonstrate it. We will also explore how this presence of peace is the underpinning of social justice.
FEATURED MUSICIAN: Patsy Cameron with Dale Young
TAKE AWAYS: In our oneness is the realization that everything we could ever need, want, desire for our peace and happiness are already ours.  They are already part of us. We need not hunt for them — we need not chase after them — we just must settle in to them. Peace is Eternal right where we are.
PODCAST:
Moving into our fourth week of our six week Spirit Circle study of the book PEACE and Where to Find It by Christopher Papadopoulos, our focus will be on chapters 7 and 8.
These chapters provide another look at the many aspects of peace:
  • the importance of being peace in the world and how it is our own responsibility to demonstrate it, and
  • how this presence of peace is the underpinning of social justice.
As I read and reflect, I see how powerful one’s commitment to peace is — to live it and to be it.  In the early 80’s I used to be part of creating a “Peace Fair” in a small town north of Seattle, Washington.  Back then it was about creating peace in the outer.  Now it is about creating peace in the inner.

Join us this Sunday, won’t you?

Singer/song writer Patsy Cameron will be with us along with Dale Young playing the native American flute, Dagan Williamson on drums and song leader Lisa Sherman.

Come and be inspired to hear peace through the lilting, peaceful gentle tones of music, song and flute.

May you know peace,

Deidre
