How the World Really Is

Synopsis: This Sunday, our guest speaker Tami Savage will remind us of how positive our future really is and how much humanity has progressed. By focusing on the positive, we really can and do make a difference in our lives and the world.
“When you wake up every day, you have two choices. You can either be positive or negative; an optimist or a pessimist. I choose to be an optimist. It's all a matter of perspective.”  Harvey Mackay

Sunday Message

Unity teaches that we are a distinct expression of God created with sacred worth. Living from this awareness transforms our life and impacts the lives of others and the world. Unity also emphasizes the creative power of thought in our life experience. Unity’s third basic principle states that “We create our experiences by what we think, feel and believe.” So how do we see the positive when the world reflected in the daily news is so often bleak. This daily diet is replete with human and natural catastrophe and suffering. Furthermore, this curated view of ‘reality’ is the primary way that most people experience the world. This Sunday, our guest speaker Tami Savage will challenge us to see things differently. She will take us in a new direction by reminding us of the everyday miracles of our human progress. She will share how positive our future really is and how much humanity has progressed. By focusing on the positive, we really can and do make a difference in our lives and the world.

Our featured musician is Gary Edwards. He will be accompanied by Gwen Gathercoal, Gary Buettner, and Dagan Williamson. David Krak and Laura Wineteer will be our song leaders.

The future looks bright.
