We Can Work It Out

SYNOPSIS: Anyone growing up in the 60's and 70's is very familiar with the musical evolution of the Beatles. Their insight and spiritual growth was reflected in the songs they wrote. This month, we are exploring the meaning behind their words. This Sunday's focus is on Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.
FEATURED MUSICIAN: Pamela Van Kirk
TAKEAWAYS:  "So I give you a new command: Love each other deeply and fully. Remember the ways that I have loved you, and demonstrate your love for others in those same ways."   John 13:34
PODCAST:
We Can Work It Out is the lesson title for this Sunday August 21.  If you haven’t heard or don’t know, we’re giving August the “light touch” with a different theme based on the “Metaphysics of the Beatles.”

Last Sunday I covered the personal lives of John Lennon and George Harris. I’ll share Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr’s contribution to the Beatles this Sunday. We’re also encouraging everyone to wear their tie-dye clothes.  I enjoy looking out at all of us gathered and seeing the wonderful mix of color!

Our musical line-up includes guest soloist and musician Pamela van kirk, accompanied by our music director Gwen Gathercoal and Todd Neel playing percussion.

Come and join us as we sing Beatles songs and explore how they influenced not only our culture but our spiritual evolution of consciousness.

You are invited to share in the fun. See you Sunday.

The truth is: We can work it out — together!

Namaste,

Deidre
