Sharing the Inner Joy of Christmas

SYNOPSIS: What brings you Joy? Think about it, let it overcome you and move in to a state of Joy — a way of being. I look forward to sharing Christmas Joy with you this Sunday.
FEATURED MUSICIANS: Unity Youth featuring Ellie Holms
PODCAST:
When I think of Christmas, I think of children. I remember my childhood Christmases and the excitement I felt with the lights, the sounds, the singing, the visit to Santa at a department store in Spokane and the surprises that awaited me on Christmas morning. I could barely contain myself! All of my memories are infused with great Joy.

It is true Joy we’ll be experiencing and celebrating this Sunday. Our youth will be singing and filling us with Christmas joy that only they can do. We have a special solo performance with seven year old, Ellie Holms. Last year she stole our hearts when she sang Silent Night acapella. I was moved to tears.

To accompany our youth we have Nate Parker on drums, his son, Phoenix Parker playing bass, Gary Buettner on guitar, Gwen Gathercoal on piano, and Mark Wilson playing guitar while the children sing.

So I ask you — what brings you Joy? Think about it, let it overcome you. Move in to state of Joy — a way of being. And if you aren’t experiencing joy, then give yourself the gift of self-love. Think something, do something, give something kind to yourself and another. You deserve it because you are a magnificent, exquisite Being — made in the image and likeness of God. Shine on!

I look forward to sharing Christmas Joy with you this Sunday.
