Putting on the Christ
SYNOPSIS: We'll explore what it means and what it takes to "Put on the Christ." Our Advent journey this week is one of Faith. Sunday we'll honor the Peace the Christ Child brings. Let us open our hearts to welcome Peace. Yes - Peace even in the midst of all the holiday to do lists!
FEATURED MUSICIAN: Patsy Cameron
TAKEAWAYS: In the words of Stephen Mitchell, in his book, The Gospel According to Jesus: “God’s compassion embraces all people. There are no pre-conditions for it, nothing we need to do first, nothing we have to believe. When we are ready to receive it, it is there. And the more we live in Its presence, the more effortlessly it flows through us.”
Here we are, embarking upon our sacred Christmas season. As I am writing, I am looking out my window at the falling snow. Ahh! I love this time of year. My intention is to lean into the quiet beauty and stillness the snow, the darkness and the winter brings.
It is a time to turn inward and allow ourselves to slow down. I encourage each of us to give ourselves the space needed to embrace the deeper meanings and messages of the Christ Consciousness that is becoming more and more powerful. Let it grow and expand in you.

Come to Unity and find yourself in Peace. Our musicians are Patsy Cameron playing piano and singing along with Dagan Williamson on drums.
You are also invited to stay for our Christmas Open House and Potluck lunch at 12:30 p.m. There will be special treats for our youth, along with a visit from Santa. This is always a joyful time as we decorate our Christmas Tree and sing our favorite carols.
Honor yourself. Find the quiet time you need to listen, hear and Be.
In the stillness and joy,
