Living in Light and Laughter

SYNOPSIS: Humor and lightness are gifts of God’s Love.  Our ability to laugh in the midst of circumstances and have a light touch on life are indicators of our how much we are living into and from this Love. Today, we shine our Light and Laughter in places that could use a big dose of God’s Love.
FEATURED MUSICIAN: Michael Robinson
TAKEAWAYS: Humor and lightness are gifts of God’s Love.  Give life the light touch and laugh often.
PODCAST:
I value humor.  I love to laugh.  I enjoy a good joke and funny cartoons.  I love a good comedy movie or routine.  I have high regard for laughter.  I know it is good for my soul.  I also know that to the degree that I can laugh easily and readily, I am healthy and well.  Laughter is an indicator to me of my well-being.  How about you?  Where is laughter on the spectrum in your life?

Humor and lightness are gifts of God’s Love.  Our ability to laugh in the midst of circumstances while having a light touch on life reflect how much we are living into and from this Love.

This Sunday we’re going to shine our Light and Laughter in places that could use a big dose of God’s Love.

To assist us in this endeavor, singer-songwriter, Michael Robinson will be with us, along with Gary Edwards playing bass, Dagan Williamson on drums, and song leaders Lisa Sherman, Laura Winter and Mark Soss.  All will be accompanied by our music director, pianist and vocalist Gwen Gathercoal.

I hope you will join us.  The service promises to be an experience where your heart will be touched through the power of love, laughter and tenderness.

Just a reminder:  please remember to bring a potluck dish to share at 12:30 p.m.  This is Friendship Sunday and we will be honoring February birthdays.

By the way, I'm reading a book about anti-gravity and I can't put it down.

Heh, heh…

In Joy,

Deidre
