Achieving the Miraculous

SYNOPSIS: American Physician and author Bernie Siegel once wrote, “We have nothing to lose by attempting to achieve the miraculous.” When we have made the turn to a more expansive view of ourselves, our possibilities and the role we play in the world, we will achieve the miraculous.
FEATURED MUSICIAN: Gwen Gathercoal
TAKEAWAYS: There are 3 miracle mindsets to engage with:

1. What else is possible?
2. It’s a piece of cake.
3. I am connected to everything.
PODCAST:
I have a sign outside my office door at church that says, “When Nothing is Certain, Everything is Possible.” I really like this statement because it is true. How about this? “When Everything Is Certain, Everything is Still Possible.” Which I believe is also true.

This Sunday we’ll explore how it is we can achieve the seemingly miraculous. Rather than having miraculous experiences, could it be that we are actually experiencing a vibrational frequency that supports the existence of a matching vibrational situation? In other words, if something can happen once, which seems like an exception, it really isn’t  - because if it can happen once, it can happen again.  What makes a miracle a miracle or the miraculous, miraculous?

I like this definition of a miracle: “A miracle is a shift in my perception that removes any blocks to my awareness of the presence of God right here right now.”

Unity co-founder Charles Fillmore says this about miracles: “God never performs miracles, if by miracle is meant a departure from universal law. Whatever the prophets did was done by the operation of laws inherent in Being and open to the discovery of every man.”

So the idea of a miracle is really tuning into more expansive thoughts of what is possible. There are no limits.

I’ve been enjoying Pam Grout’s E Cubed book and have had fun doing the experiments. I hope you have to, if you are participating in proving “our thoughts create our experience of reality.”

Sunday we’ll be blessed by musicians Gwen Gathercoal on piano & lead soloist; Nate Parker, guitar; Gary Edwards, bass; Dagan Williamson, drums; along with Song leaders: Lisa Sherman and Mark Soss. The music will uplift and inspire you.

As always, I am enjoying growing & building community together,

Deidre
