What were the beginnings of Unity CDA?

SYNOPSIS: Have you ever wondered about the people who had the idea of starting a Unity group here?  Have your ever considered what they had to do to begin or how they fostered its growth to bring us to where we are today? This Sunday, we will look back on the history of Unity Spiritual Center of North Idaho and honor those whose contributions have made our Spiritual Community possible.
FEATURED MUSICIAN: Julie Croteau
TAKEAWAY:  We honor, appreciate and are grateful for all those people who had the idea to start a Unity group in Coeur d’Alene.  We lovingly support and develop this divine idea of a spiritual community and teachings of the great movement called UNITY.
PODCAST:
Our theme of Honoring our Past - Growing our Future is providing a creative and inspiring platform for us to reflect upon and realize the far reaching capacities of our Unity teachings.

This Sunday we will rock the house with long time members Virginia Lyon sharing the origins of Unity of North Idaho, along with Bob Webb remembering the presence Unity has had in our local community during some stressful times when the there was unrest with intolerant views being expressed.

Who were the people who had the idea of starting a Unity group here?  What did they have to do to begin?  How did it grow to bring us to where we are today?

In addition we will enjoy the musical talents of Julie and Steve Croteau, Pamela Van Kirk, Jim Turner, Mark Soss, Laura Wineteer, Lisa Sherman, and Gwen Gathercoal.  Julie and Mark will sing an exquisite arrangement combing the songs I Believe and Ave Mariawhich will knock your socks off!  You won’t want to miss it.

See you Sunday.  There is no better time than now.  It is where the Love is — always has been and always will be.

Namaste,

Deidre
