Do I Really Deserve to be Free?
SYNOPSIS: Are you experiencing a consistent, ongoing abundant flow of good in your life? If the answer is “yes,” then hooray! You believe you deserve it. But if the answer is “no,” then there is some internal housekeeping to do. Today, we’ll do just that so that we can truly experience freedom through flow.
FEATURED MUSICIAN: Cello Duet-Deidre Ashmore and Bee Reynolds
TAKEAWAY: When negative mind chatter starts to take hold and affect your well being, re-mind yourself that you are "An astonishing being of light" made in the image and likeness of God.
How worthy are you? Have you thought about it? What do you tell yourself you can or can’t have, do and be — and why can you or can’t you? Are you conscious of your thoughts about your worthiness?
Our worthiness or lack thereof, determines how much freedom we have to maneuver in this journey of life — to live in the divine flow of abundance and well-being or not.
When you come this Sunday, we explore our intrinsic value and worth. You and I and all of us are beloved of God. We are the Divine in expression. How priceless is this? Sometimes I stand in awe and wonderful of it all.
Our musical line up includes our music director, Gwen Gathercoal on piano, Pamela Van Kirk on guitar, Dagan Williamson on drums, Bee Reynolds and myself, Deidre Ashmore playing cello.
Be sure to stay for the potluck lunch at 12:30 p.m. You’ll be able to talk to and meet the Sabbatical Guest Ministers & Speakers, who will be conducting the Sunday services while I am away on sabbatical July, August and September. I know this will be a fantastic time for growth, renewal and reflection not only for me, but for you as well. It promises to be a great summer!
It is my delight, honor and privilege to serve as your minister. It truly is a gift of a life time. Thank you for that! If I don’t see you this Sunday, we’ll meet again the first Sunday in October.
