With All Thy Getting, Get Understanding

SYNOPSIS: Genevieve Behrend's book, Your Invisible Power, describes the mind as "a center of Divine Operation." We will explore this concept and how to apply it in our own lives.
FEATURED MUSICIAN: Michael Robinson
TAKEAWAYS: Through meditation and prayer, watch how your mind works to produce new conditions, always in advance of any that have gone on before.

PODCAST:

MINISTER'S MESSAGE: The title of next Sunday's lesson is "With All Thy Getting, Get Understanding" based on the Bible passage from Proverbs 4:7, King James translation which says:

"Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding."

Principle or sound judgment leads to wisdom, which leads to understanding. I believe understanding leads to wisdom. When we have understanding we have wisdom. In any event both wisdom and understanding go hand in hand.

On Sunday, we'll apply our understanding to the following quote from Genevieve Behrend in her book Your Invisible Power, which we have been studying in Prosperity Plus 2.

"My mind is a center of Divine Operation. The Divine operation is always for expansion and fuller expression and this means the production of something beyond what has gone before, something entirely new, not included in the past experience, though proceeding out of it by an orderly sequence of growth. Therefore, since the Divine cannot change its inherent nature, it must operate in the same manner in me; consequently, in my own special world, of which I am the center, it will move forward to produce new conditions, always in advance of any that have gone on before."

There are three distinct elements in this quote that we will explore so we can get a deeper understanding of each of them in order to utilize and optimize our minds.

Singer/songwriter/guitarist Michael Robinson will join our wonderful music director and pianist Gwen Gathercoal. We'll have some fun, good music and great connection with one another. You won't want to miss it!

Namaste,

Deidre
