The Paradox of Change

SYNOPSIS: Change brings uncertainty which can generate feelings that are often uncomfortable. Where ever we are on our journey of change, we must have compassion for ourselves and others.
FEATURED MUSICIAN: Patsy Cameron
PODCAST:
Many of you know that I am retiring on April 30.  This is a big change for this ministry and of course for me and my husband Andrew.

To support us all in the experience of change, I will be sharing ideas and strategies we can use to navigate this unfamiliar terrain.  What I know is, it’s important to be gentle with ourselves and cut ourselves and others some slack.  What change brings is uncertainty.  This can generate feelings that are uncomfortable — feelings of sadness, regret, anxiety, anger, and eventually appreciation and gratitude.  Some of us are more comfortable than others in not knowing.  However, where ever we are on our journey of change, we must have compassion.

Our musicians this Sunday are singer, songwriter Patsy Cameron, Native American flutist Dale Young, drummer Nick Halpin, bass guitarist Gary Buettner, and keyboardist Gwen Gathercoal. Their music will sooth your soul.  Be with us…

Sending blessings of trust and grace as we enter the river of change.

Namaste,

Deidre
