What Comes After Change

SYNOPSIS: This week, we will explore the theme "What Comes After Change?" It has been said that the only constant is change. I believe this is true - it all depends upon how we view it - do we welcome it or resist it?
FEATURED MUSICIAN: Pamela Benton
TAKEAWAYS: Three ways of experiencing change (i.e. transformation)
  •  Old painful, stressful way – resisting what is
  •  Neutral, open, faithful counting our blessings
  •  Excited to see what good there is in it - A life of joy and happiness, setting examples, being the model!
PODCAST:
What comes after change?  It’s the settling in of the new.  It is the place of uncomfortableness when one begins to establish a new normal.  It is getting used to new circumstances and conditions.  It is becoming aware of what one doesn’t yet know.

Is there something deeper than mere change?  Where does transformation come in?
These are questions I’ll explore this Sunday as we look at what’s beyond change.

How comfortable are you with change?  My experience is that some of us are more comfortable than others.  It has been said that the only constant is change.  I believe this is true — it all depends upon how we view it — do we welcome it or resist it?

Our musicians are inspirational violinist and singer Pamela Benton, accompanied by bassist Gary Edwards and Gwen Gathercoal on keyboard.  Song leader Laura Wineteer will also be with us.  I am so grateful for these talented individuals.

I look forward to being together as we grow our community by encouraging and inspiring transformation.

Namaste,

Deidre
