The Miracle of Meditation
SYNOPSIS: Meditation opens us to the pulse of our soul. This Sunday we explore the practical application of meditation.
FEATURED MUSICIAN: Patsy Cameron
TAKEAWAYS: Start by allowing yourself to sit in silence for one minute a day.
I am receiving really good feedback from those who are reading Patrick Harbula's book, Magic of the Soul. I too am enjoying it as it is encouraging me to be more loving at all times. What a concept! I like the person I am becoming as a result of reading this book.
This Sunday our focus is on Meditation. I have been meditating since 1972, beginning with the practice of Transcendental Meditation. I now use a different meditation method. However, I still experience the benefits of regular meditation including feeling more centered, with a calmer mind and an over-all sense of well-being.
Harbula writes: "Meditation opens us to the pulse of our soul and also provides a method for that pulse to sound forth as a rhythmic beat in the world of practical application. "
Come and join us as we look at the practical applications of various meditations types. There is something for everyone.
Singer/songwriter Patsy Cameron is our featured guest soloist, along with our music director Gwen Gathercoal and singer Gina Barber.
If you're a long time meditator, come. If you're new to meditation, come. There is great power in unified group meditation. We'll connect our souls in a powerful way. And always, it is even better when you are with us.
