In Paths of Righteousness

SYNOPSIS: One of the greatest hindrances to the authentic and joyous life is judging others. Focusing on what others are doing or not doing is just one more tool our mind uses to distract us from the present moment and the incredible power and freedom available to us NOW.
FEATURED MUSICIAN: Patsy Cameron
TAKEAWAYS: Ask your Self: What is the right use of my life? Look deeply into your heart and let it guide you. Let the voice of the divine within be your guide to a path that cultivates your highest and best contribution to life and follow it. It doesn't matter where you are in the moment, there is always a higher purpose. Listen to the spirit within and answer the call to the right use of life.
PODCAST:
People often ask me what I am doing these days. One of my answers, depending on who it is and the tone of our conversation, is that I'm figuring out what I want to be when I grow up. I've made that decision many times in my life and learned from each job or profession I took on. I was as surprised as many of my friends when I chose ministry and it became my "who am I' for more than 25 years.

In the traditional version of the 23rd Psalm it says God leads us in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Unity taught me to look at the word righteousness as the 'right use' of life, so I am once again following the path of asking and listening for the perfect right use of the days and years yet ahead of me.

I believe every moment is a choice point for the right use of our time and talents. This Sunday as I continue on with my series on Conscious Evolution I'll be exploring how important it is, though often difficult, to fully commit to the highest and best way to serve whether that be right where we are, or off on a new adventure.

Our music Director Gwen Gathercoal will be teaming up with Patsy Cameron this Sunday to fill our hearts with song. I look forward to the experience.

In loving faith and service,

Clare
