Easter: When Love Finds You...Be Willing to Be Found
SYNOPSIS: When love finds you, be willing, my friends, to be found. Be willing to be found by releasing the requirement that love MUST come from a specific source. It must come from my spouse, it must come from my parent, it must come from my children. You don’t get to say where it comes from, but when you open your heart to it, it does come!
Because Love is the very nature of the Universe. What better way to know this than by living the teachings of our way-shower Jesus Christ.
FEATURED MUSICIANS: Unity Choir
TAKEAWAYS: Using the metaphor of computer language, we are installing new Heart Drives to change our internal operating systems to live from the programs of Forgiveness, Worthiness, Acceptance and Love.
Happy Easter Everyone!
Please join us for our special contemplative and reflective Good Friday Service, this Friday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m. featuring the Seven Last Words of Jesus, with exquisite music and song presented by Mark Soss and Gwen Gathercoal. This service is very moving. Should you wish to use it to take you into your Easter weekend, it will prepare you to open your heart to feel, experience and further the meaning of Easter.
Easter morning, for those hearty ones who like the crispness and early twilight of day’s beginning, come to our Sacred Sunrise Service at 6:00 a.m. Our plan is to meet at the fire pit to share salutations of welcoming the light representing the resurrection of the Christ Consciousness within us and new life. Should it rain, we’ll meet in the sanctuary. Please bring a breakfast item to share afterwards in our Friendship Hall.
The theme for our 9 and 11 services is When Love Finds You, Be Willing to Be Found. Our choir lead by our accomplished music director Gwen Gathercoal will provide beautiful Easter selections. Members include Mark Soss, Rob Rohlmeier, Kathleen Tomich, Peggy Decker, Haley Goff, Melody Harrison, Lisa Sherman, and Dian Koefoed, accompanied by musicians Nate Parker on bass, Dagan Williamson on drums and LeeAnn Aerlyn on piano. Come and be uplifted and resurrected to your BEST SELF!
And, as always promptly at 12:30 pm is our Annual Easter Egg hunt. Bring your children and let their hearts be delighted.
I rejoice with you in serving the living and growing Christ.
