The Higher Reaches of Wisdom

Synopsis: In Unity, we often refer to enlightenment as “Oneness”. However, no matter what it is called, this state of being is our ultimate Spiritual goal. This Sunday, Reverend Michael Moran will share insights drawn from many spiritual traditions. These teachings will help us to rise above the limits of the conscious mind to reveal this truth about our divine natures.
Presented by: Reverend Michael Moran
With music by: The Harrison Family

Lao Tsu, 6th Century Chinese philosopher and the reputed author of the Tao Te Ching said; “Those who know others are wise. Those who know themselves are enlightened.” This transition from a primarily outward directed focus to an inward directed one is the path toward self-realization. This idea is at the core of all spiritual teachings. The Buddha called it “Buddha Nature.” Jesus called it “Christ Consciousness.” In Unity, we often refer to it as “Oneness”. No matter what it is called, this state of being is our ultimate Spiritual goal. This Sunday, Reverend Michael Moran will share insights drawn from many spiritual traditions. These teachings will help us to rise above the limits of the conscious mind to reveal this truth about our divine natures.

Our musical guests this Sunday are the Harrisons including Gracelyn on cello, Annabella on Harp, Melody on piano and Michael on drums. Gary Buettner will join them on the bass.  Lisi Siri and Laura Wineteer will be our song leaders.

Embrace our Oneness.
