New Thought is a spiritual and philosophical path that began in the United States in the early 19th century. It is based on the idea that your thoughts shape your reality, and by aligning your mind with spiritual truth, you can experience healing, abundance, and personal transformation.

New Thought pulls wisdom from many streams—Transcendentalism, Eastern philosophies, Christian mysticism, and metaphysical science. It’s not a single denomination but a shared network of seekers who resonate with these ideas.

If you are follower of Unity, you are part of a spiritual tradition rooted in healing and transformation. Founded by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore in 1889, Unity stands alongside Religious Science and Divine Science as one of New Thought’s major branches.

Although these groups vary in style and emphasis, they share core beliefs in the divinity of the individual, the creative power of thought, and the potential for healing and transformation through spiritual practice.
