Banshees With Butch (a.k.a. Gwen and Paul Gathercoal) have been making music together for decades; beginning with a Homecoming concert and hotel lounges while in college and later in Washington, D.C. at the 1972 President's National Prayer Breakfast when Paul served in the U.S. Army. With other musicians, they played regular gigs in restaurants and pubs; performing on local and national television while living in Oregon and South Australia. In 1981, they recorded a vinyl single, "My Side of the Road" and "Our Song" on the RCA Label.
Now, they are back as a self-contained duo: Banshees With Butch. Located in the North Idaho panhandle, they cover established artists across a wide range of genres from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. From soulful ballads and spiritual songs to energetic rock anthems, their diverse list of songs caters to music lovers of all ages.
Tickets at the door are $10 each or $15 for families/couples.
