At UCSG, our mission is simple yet profound: Live Love and Uplift Lives. As we move through a season of meaningful transformation, we’re creating space to intentionally reconnect with our purpose. Through a series of mission-inspired talks, we’ll reflect on who we are, why we exist, and how we continue to grow together in love and service.
This Sunday, we’ll explore how to create love in community. Finding love in community is not always easy. We like to put labels on ourselves and each other. Richard Rohr says, “The only thing that separates us is the belief we are separate.” No two people are exactly alike. And, like it or not, we are all connected. In this message, we will explore some of the different ways we connect and some of the beliefs that cause us to think we are disconnected from each other. When we can appreciate our differences and our connection, we can find love in community!
Join Reverend James Kress this Sunday for a message on seeing past our differences to reveal the many things that bind us in community.
You can join us in person or online.
Our music ensemble features the Unity Choir singers. They will be led by our Choir Director Julie Crotea and accompanied by LeeAnn Aerlyn-Moore on piano.
