A pilgrimage is an intentional journey taken with the hope of drawing closer to the spirit within. It is a trek taken to deepen your faith, broaden your perspective, and renew the very origins of your spiritual traditions. It is not about the path taken but the journey and what it reveals.

Traditionally, every faith in the world has defined pilgrimages. For example, Muslims journey to Mecca. Whereas Bodh Gaya is a traditional destination for Buddhists. In India, the Golden Temple located in Amritsar is a sacred site for the Sikh faith. The point is that practitioners of every faith tradition, including Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, Muslims, Christians, and even followers of Unity take pilgrimages.

Join Reverend Dennis Ashley this Sunday for a lesson examining the power and purpose of a spiritual pilgrimage and its potential for transforming you at the very depth of your soul.

Our ensemble features the Unity Choir Singers. They will be led by Choir Director Julie Croteau and accompanied by LeeAnn Aerlyn-Moore, Jim Turner, and Dagan Williamson.
