Sunday Lesson

A lesson exploring the Advent theme of Hope. .

This Sunday, November 27 marks the first week of Advent Season. Advent Season is a traditional time of reflection and celebration, it is also a means of counting down the days until Christmas. Advent means arrival or coming. Customarily, it refers to the birth of Jesus. Within the Unity movement, Advent is a reminder of the birth of your individual Christ Consciousness. It is a way of inviting the Christ Consciousness to play a more prominent role in your life.

The theme for the first week of Advent Season is Hope. Hope plays a huge role in developing a Clearer Vision and a Stronger Mind. When you have hope, you can see possibilities where others might see only obstacles. In addition, you can stay motivated and focused on what you want to achieve, even when the going gets tough.

Join Reverend Dennis Ashley this Sunday for a lesson exploring the Advent theme of Hope. After all, it is essential for cultivating great vision, a strong heart, and a powerful mind.
You can join us in person or watch the service on our live stream feed.

Our featured ensemble is LeeAnn Aerlyn-Moore, Gary Buettner, and Dagan Williamson along with our Unity Holiday Choir. They are directed by Julie Croteau.
