Judith Pinkerton’s passion for life includes music therapy which was ignited in Alaska when her solo violin music replaced medication post-surgery in a hospital. Fast forward decades when she was “instrumental” in saving her father from death through music. As a music therapist, Judith developed the Music4Life® wellness system through her positions of clinician, internship director, author, TEDx speaker and recording artist. The first to receive a music therapy license in the USA, she has treated clients from cradle to grave, including more than 11,000 patients in residential addiction treatment centers. Aflac and the Academy of Country Music produced a TV commercial featuring Judith as their first recipient of the Lifting Lives Honor (2018). Born a Methodist, her spiritual journey through metaphysical practices support her life at Unity Center of Spiritual Growth.
