Steve Towles

In the year 2025 Rev. Stephen Towles celebrates 41 years being an Ordained Unity Minister.  He has served ministries in Sedalia, Missouri; Sacramento, California; Reno, Nevada; Seattle, Washington; Unity of South Sound now in Tacoma, Washington; and Unity Spiritual Center in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.  He also worked with Seniors in Seattle and Spokane for Choice Advisor Services as an Elder Care Advisor for 10 years.  He retired in March of 2022 and has been not only walking Caminos in Spain, but helping others prepare for their own.  He has a website at www.caminocoach.net.  He wrote and published two books in 2023 called Heaven is Walking the Camino de Santiago, which is a compilation of the first 3 of his Camino’s, and Heaven is Walking the Spiritual Path, which is a book about his spiritual beliefs and how they impact daily life and the journeys we are on as spiritual/human beings.  He has done presentations about the Camino de Santiago in Libraries and Spiritual Centers in Coeur d’Alene, Spokane, Boise, and Sandpoint.  They are always well attended because of peoples great interest in this journey.  He currently resides in Blue Creek Bay with his life partner Kari Joys.  Combined they have 6 children and 13 grandchildren.  “When we live life as a journey, and then as a Spiritual Journey, we deal with our life having a lighter heart, we are interested in the next adventure, and we are open to the challenges knowing that there is great learning and joy in the journey and on the other side.”
