Financial Wellness Seminar
Bringing Peace to your Financial World
As part of our Season for Peace and Nonviolence,
we thought it would be good to provide information about financial
well-being. As we experience individual financial peace, we will
have greater economic peace and nonviolence in our world. This
seminar will be lead by Christine Schader on Wednesday March 10
from 7 pm to 8 pm for a suggested love offering of $5 to $10,
but no one will be turned away.
You will learn financial basics and organizational
tips that when applied will help bring Peace to your financial
life.

health, and personal documents. Review your financial foundation
including estate planning, debt elimination, risk management,
budgeting and so much more!

Element Ecstatic Movement

“Wow” is what most people say after the
music stops. Ecstatic experiences are always surprising. It’s such
an easy process yet feels like an epic adventure.
I program the music in 4 waves to explore
the blocks to and benefits of each element: earth, water, fire,
and air. We are left with an open heart, a shared spiritual
experience and a big grin. We start with a 15 minute
mini-workshop, then spend an hour moving to the music, do some
sharing and that’s it.

 Last year’s
Fat Saturday show was standing room only so we’ve had to move it
to 2 nights! This year promises to be just as wild & wacky as last
year. Come celebrate Mardi Gras with the Music Team and have an
evening of fun & frivolity. And yes, there will be fabulous
desserts, too!

fun we have at Unity. $10 suggested donation. All donations go to

Celebrate
the Changing of the Seasons
Winter gives
way fully to spring this Equinox next Sunday evening March 21st.
A potluck and fellowship start at 4:30 then we’ll build a
fire filling the night with drumming and storytelling. Bring your
favorite food, a story; cultural, personal, funny, whatever you
feel moved to tell, drums if you have them, and a spring flower.

This Year’s Easter Basket Silent Auction will be

Sunday March 28. All proceeds will benefit
the general fund. We’re asking for anyone who would like to, to

In honor of the season of Peace and
Non-violence, I’ve chosen a very special film for
March.
March 26, 7:00 pm:
The Peace
(2003,
documentary)
Amid an escalating war in Iraq, rising
terror levels and the threat of nuclear attack, a growing body of
intellectuals, religious leaders and community organizers are
getting tough with their questions about peace — and that’s no
oxymoron.
To shed light on the answers, filmmakers
Gabriele Zamparini and Lorenzo Meccoli record a variety of
speakers, including Noam Chomsky, Desmond Tutu, Scott Ritter, Pete
Seeger, Howard Zinn and Gore Vidal.
Now, some of you may ask, “What do these
films have to do with the environment?” To which I respond,
“Define environment.” Our environment, our ecology, is about where
we live, but not just the physical land upon which we walk, it is
our social, emotional, and spiritual environments as well. So I
feel these films have relevance to these other aspects of
“environment”, I hope you’ll join me.

Easter
Services
 A special
Good Friday service “To Know the Christ” will feature
the perspectives of seven of the people who were with Jesus at the
time of his crucifixion. This moving portrayal will feature our in
house actors/actresses and special music.
Friday, April 2 at 7:00 p.m.
Easter
morning begins with our wonderful Sunrise
Service on our property around the fire pit with drumming, and
Easter stories with Steve Talking Bear, Reverend Deidre and our
Uniteens. Breakfast to follow.
Time: 6:00 AM - With sun rising at
6:20 AM.
Easter Flower Ceremony Services at 9:00
and 11:00 AM with special music by our music team.
There will be a Easter Egg Hunt between
services for the little ones. |

Spirit Circles
Spirit Circles are starting up the week of April
5 and run through the week of May 7. We’ll be studying the
book “The I of the Storm” in which we will learn how to
embrace conflict as a teacher and ultimately create peace. Those
interested in facilitating and/or hosting a group, please sign up
in the hallway so we can form our study groups.

Belly Dancing Classes
Have you ever marveled at the exotic beauty
of Middle Eastern dance? Ever wondered how those hip drops or
undulations were done? If so, join Blossom for a continuing class
in American Belly dance on Thursday nights.
Classes are held from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the Ark at a cost of Five
Dollars per class. Every shape, size, and ability is welcome.
We will synthesize movements and styles from
across the globe, expand our inner and outer horizons, and have
fun! The tentative name for a performing troupe is Binah Noor Raks
(bee’naw nor rocks), which translates to “the dance of wisdom and
light.” How about a debut performance at WoodsTalk.
So, come shake your booty on Monday
nights (Thursday nights starting March 4th) from 6:30 to 8:30, for $5 per
class. No one will be turned away.

The Oneness
Blessing
The
first Sunday of every month, Peggy Capes will
facilitate a Oneness Blessing Event at UCNI, 6:30-8:00 PM. The
time will be spent in meditation and in receiving the blessing for
participants.
The Oneness Blessing is a transfer
of divine energy. It initiates a neurobiological change in the
brain that when complete enables the senses to be free from the
constant interference of the mind. When the senses are unclouded
by the mind’s interpretations, a natural clarity of perception
occurs with accompanying spontaneous feelings of joy, inner
calmness and a connection to the Oneness in everything.
A suggested love offering of
$10-$20 will be gratefully accepted.

Meets Every Monday 7:00 - 9:00 PM
These weekly sessions explain, with profound simplicity, how
the mind, body, and emotion interaction affect health, every
event in life, and all relationships.
In each self-contained workshop, effective tools will be
presented to assist in creating high-level wellness while
reducing and even eliminating upset, lack, and conflict.
