Consciousness is the subtle and all-embracing mystery within and between everything. It is like the air you breathe. It is ever present and all around you. Yet it is unseen. Consciousness is not the seeing but that which sees you seeing. It is not the knower but that which knows you are knowing. It is not the observer, but that which underlies and observes you observing. To align with it, you must step back from your compulsive attachment to yourself. Like the Soul, Consciousness is as hard to describe. Maybe, it is because they are the same thing.

November 14 is week six of our seven week Fall SpiritGroup Series based on the Book Breathing Under Water by Father Richard Rohr.  This Sunday’s lesson focuses on understanding and living out of Consciousness.

You can join us in person at 10AM or watch the service on our live stream feed.

Julie Powell will be our soloist and song leader. LeeAnn Aerlyn-Moore, Gary Buettner, and Dagan Williamson will accompany her.
